Samsung Securities Appoints Former Financial Services Commission Chairman Lim Jong-ryong as Outside Director
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Samsung Securities held its regular general meeting of shareholders on the 19th and appointed former Financial Services Commission Chairman Lim Jong-ryong as an outside director.
On this day, Samsung Securities announced that it passed four agenda items, including the appointment of former Chairman Lim as an outside director, as originally proposed.
Former Chairman Lim, who passed the 24th Administrative Examination, served as the 1st Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance, Chairman of NH Nonghyup Financial Group, and the 5th Chairman of the Financial Services Commission. He later served as a special professor at Yonsei University Graduate School of Economics.
