According to the quarantine authorities, Seoul city, and other local governments, from 0:00 to 18:00 on the 14th, a total of 309 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported nationwide. This is 35 fewer than the 344 cases recorded at the same time the previous day.
Looking at the regions where confirmed cases were reported, the Seoul metropolitan area accounted for 248 cases, making up 80%. By city/province, Gyeonggi had 128 cases, Seoul 102 cases, Gyeongnam 31 cases, and Incheon 18 cases. No confirmed cases have yet been reported in Sejong, Chungnam, Jeonnam, or Jeju.
Considering that there is still time until midnight when the tally closes, the number of new confirmed cases announced as of 0:00 on the 15th is expected to be around 400. On the previous day, 115 cases were added after 18:00, bringing the final total to 459.
