Police, Government Joint Investigation Team Additional Announcement: Internal Investigation of '7 LH Employees Involved in Speculation'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] The police have launched an internal investigation into seven additional employees of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) who were newly identified with speculation allegations in the first full-scale survey conducted by the government joint investigation team (Joint Investigation Team). The number of LH employees under investigation has increased to 20.
On the 14th, according to the police, the seven individuals requested by the Joint Investigation Team of the National Investigation Headquarters were assigned to each police agency considering their workplace and investigative jurisdiction.
Among them, two were assigned to the Major Crimes Investigation Division of the National Police Agency, three to the Gyeonggi Nambu Police Agency, one to the Gyeonggi Bukbu Police Agency, and one to the Jeonbuk Police Agency. Once the investigation begins, these seven will be converted into suspects.

Previously, 13 LH employees who were reported have been registered as suspects and are under investigation by the Gyeonggi Nambu Police Agency.
