View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City in Gyeongnam announced on the 12th that it held a 'Youth Policy Meeting' to share and propose youth policies together with local youths from various fields.
The meeting was attended by 18 youth representatives, including the student councils of local universities, the Gimhae Youth Council, the Gyeongnam Youth Startup Association, the Gimhae Youth Farmers Union, and youth cultural and artistic activists, along with Mayor Heo Seong-gon.
At the meeting, the city introduced various youth policies and took time to listen to the on-site voices regarding several issues faced by local youths such as youth employment, education, housing, and culture, and sought policy alternatives.
The youths attending the meeting discussed the realities of youth issues such as lack of promotion of youth policies, insufficient job opportunities, housing, and social participation opportunities, and requested multifaceted measures to activate demand-tailored youth policies.
