[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Cheongho Nice announced on the 11th that its 'Self-Managed Water Purifier Self' 2 models, 'Coffee Machine Ice Water Purifier Esprecafe', and 'Portable Air Purifier Always' were selected for the Good Design Award's Excellent Design (GD).
The Good Design Award is a prestigious award program held annually since 1985, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion. Based on the Industrial Design Promotion Act, products are comprehensively evaluated on appearance, functionality, materials, and economic feasibility, and those recognized for excellent design are granted the 'Good Design (GD)' mark.

The Cheongho Self-Managed Water Purifier Self features sterilization and cleaning of not only the euro and cork but also the residue inside the filter. Through filter backwash sterilization, it discharges the residue left inside the filter after filtration. Lee Joo-hyung, team leader of the Cheongho Nice Design Division, said, "Product design is increasingly important as an interior element that enhances indoor spaces," adding, "We will strive harder to establish design competitiveness that satisfies consumers based on innovative technology."
