Honam University, GGM Employees 'Future Car Workforce Training' Education
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Honam University Industrial Technology Joint Infrastructure Construction Project Group announced on the 10th that it conducted a customized training program titled ‘Automobile Industry and Response Strategies,’ a future automobile workforce development program, at Gwangju Global Motors (GGM) on the 9th.
Fifty-eight employees participated in the training on that day.
Senior Research Fellow Cho Cheol from the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade was invited as a lecturer and gave a special lecture on the overview of the automobile industry, trends and prospects of the global automobile market, domestic automobile industry trends, the future automobile industry, and Korea’s potential.

Meanwhile, Honam University was selected for the workforce development sector of the ‘Eco-friendly Automobile Parts Cluster Formation’ project promoted by the Gwangju Green Car Promotion Agency, focusing efforts on nurturing talent in the future automobile field, which is recognized as a core industry sector of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
