22 Foreign Workers Confirmed Positive at Industrial Complex in Nam-myeon, Yangju, Gyeonggi
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 26th that 22 people, including foreign workers working in the Nam-myeon Industrial Complex, were newly confirmed with COVID-19.
The quarantine authorities had previously conducted proactive testing targeting employees of the Nam-myeon Industrial Complex, where many foreign workers are employed. This followed the post-mortem test confirmation after a foreign worker of Nigerian nationality, Mr. A, was found dead at his home on the 25th.

In this test, the authorities tested a total of 719 people, including 115 foreign workers. Among them, 22 people were confirmed positive, including 21 foreigners and 1 Korean national.
