Binggrae's 'Kkotgerang' Reborn as Ramen in Partnership with Ottogi
Ottogi's 'Chamkkae Ramen' Reborn as 'Chamkkae Ramen Time'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Binggrae and Ottogi have joined hands to launch new products.
Binggrae announced on the 25th that Ottogi will make Binggrae's snack product Kkotgerang into ramen, and Binggrae will turn Ottogi's ramen product Chamkkae Ramen into a snack.
This is the first case of collaboration between companies in the same industry within the food sector. Since the collaboration products bring together the flagship products of both companies, great effort was put into product development to highlight the unique characteristics of each product.
Kkotgerangmyeon added a secret soup powder in addition to the basic powder soup to capture the flavor of the Kkotgerang snack. Also, fish cake flakes shaped like crabs, symbolizing the Kkotgerang snack, were added for fun.
Chammkkae Ramen Time is a collaboration product between Ottogi's Chamkkae Ramen and Binggrae's Yachae Time. It enhances the spicy and savory taste unique to Chamkkae Ramen. The jalape?o cayonnaise dipping sauce exclusive to Chamkkae Ramen Time further enhances its flavor.
Both products are available at convenience stores nationwide, including CU, 7-Eleven, and GS25.
