Lotte Duty Free, 2nd 'Labang' Broadcast... Expanding Domestic Customs Duty-Free Goods Sales
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Duty Free announced on the 23rd that, buoyed by the success of its first live broadcast selling domestically cleared duty-free products, it will hold a second broadcast at 8 PM on the 24th. The first live broadcast on the 4th, featuring all shoe lines from Jimmy Choo such as Romi85, Romi60, and Erin Flat, sold out completely, attracting great customer interest.
The second live broadcast can be viewed on the ‘LUXEMALL’ website and Android mobile app. This time, 16 items from Tory Burch and Vivienne Westwood will be sold at discounts of up to 52%. Before the broadcast starts, customers who tag a friend on Lotte Duty Free’s official Instagram to introduce the broadcast or purchase products during the broadcast will be entered into a draw to receive a MAC lipstick.
Lotte Duty Free is accelerating efforts to attract domestic customers by adding new brands and new products to LUXEMALL. Along with the addition of 13,000 new products from over 80 existing brands, new brands such as Calvin Klein, Emporio Armani, and Mido are scheduled to join. Additionally, a seasonal special exhibition featuring Marc Jacobs bags and Vivienne Westwood earrings is being prepared for spring.
Reflecting customer demand to see and purchase domestically cleared duty-free products in person, Lotte Duty Free plans to expand sales locations beyond the existing Myeongdong Main Store, World Tower Store, and Busan Store to include the COEX Store. Offline sales products are also items that have completed import clearance and can be picked up immediately after purchase.
At these stores, products from about 40 brands most preferred by domestic customers, including Burberry, Givenchy, and Ferragamo, are available, with new products from various brands added monthly. The COEX Store, which will begin sales on the 2nd of next month, will be newly configured on the second basement floor with an area of approximately 70 pyeong.
