DB Insurance Signs MOU with Seoul Fintech Lab to Promote Insurtech Development
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] DB Insurance announced on the 19th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Seoul Fintech Lab to "promote Insurtech services."
The signing ceremony, held online the previous day, was attended by DB Insurance Vice President Ko Young-joo, Seoul Fintech Lab Center Director So Young, and officials from both companies.
Through this agreement, the two parties plan to jointly plan and execute various collaboration programs, including ▲joint discovery and nurturing of startups in the Insurtech field ▲review of Insurtech business cooperation ▲providing Insurtech-related consulting to startups being nurtured and collaborated with.
DB Insurance Vice President Ko Young-joo said, "Through this agreement, we hope to achieve concrete business results in the Insurtech field so that both parties can win-win," adding, "We will continue to collaborate for the growth of Insurtech startups."

Meanwhile, Seoul Fintech Lab is a fintech incubation center operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. It provides fintech startups with office space for up to two years and offers one-stop services including customized professional accelerating programs according to growth stages, investment attraction, and overseas expansion.
