[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seong Jang-hyun, the mayor of Yongsan-gu, has entered a two-week self-quarantine starting from the 18th. On that day, Mayor Seong posted on his Facebook, "A resident I met the day before was confirmed positive, so I took a COVID-19 test today and received a negative result, but I inevitably have to enter a two-week self-quarantine."
Mayor Seong stated, "During this period, I will carefully and meticulously manage the district affairs to ensure there is no administrative gap."
Prior to this, it is known that Mayor Seong entered self-quarantine for the first time around mid-December last year after coming into contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case while interacting with residents, and this is his second self-quarantine.
