View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Noh Hyun-song) received a scholarship fund of 100 million KRW from Dongyang Industrial Development (CEO Go Soon-gil) on the morning of the 18th to foster local talent.
The donation will be used through the Gangseo-gu Scholarship Foundation to support the education of children from low-income families, such as basic livelihood security recipients and single-parent households.
Dongyang Industrial Development also donated 100 million KRW to the scholarship fund last year. With continuous interest and sharing for the local community, the total amount donated to date reaches 286 million KRW.
