Gyeongnam Province Recruiting 'Digital Sex Crime Cyber Surveillance Team' for Unemployed Women
Recruiting 6 Supervisors Until the 21st
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do is recruiting monitoring personnel for the 'Digital Sex Crime Cyber Monitoring Team' to eradicate and prevent digital sex crimes until the 21st.
The recruitment targets are women who have lost their jobs due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and women with career interruptions.
A total of six people will be recruited, with preference given to those who have majors related to information and communication or security, or possess computer proficiency certificates.
Personnel hired as monitors will work for eight months from March to October, conducting monitoring activities on harmful sites where posts suspected of sexual exploitation or illicitly filmed materials are posted, as well as requesting site blocking and reporting activities during the work period.
Applications can be submitted via email to the 1366 Gyeongnam Center, and detailed information such as submission documents can be found on the Gyeongsangnam-do website, the Women's Emergency Call 1366 Gyeongnam Center website, and Worknet.
Han Mi-young, Director of the Women's Policy Division of the province, stated, "Digital sex crimes are crimes without restrictions of time and space, causing great anxiety and pain to victims," and added, "We hope many people will apply for the cyber monitoring team to prevent digital sex crimes."

Meanwhile, the province plans to operate a specialized counseling center for victims of digital sex crimes, broadcast public service advertisements for digital sex crime prevention, and promote expulsion campaigns alongside the operation of the cyber monitoring team.
