According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 15th, two locally transmitted cases were confirmed on the day and newly classified as cases number 1,950 and 1,951.
Case 1,950 is a resident of Nam-gu, Gwangju, with an unclear infection route.
Case 1,951, residing in Gwangsan-gu, was confirmed to be related to Hyojeong Nursing Hospital. The total number of confirmed cases related to Hyojeong Nursing Hospital is currently 168.
Meanwhile, regarding Soonchunhyang University Seoul Hospital (case 634 in Yongsan-gu), two confirmed cases were identified as employees of a hospital in Buk-gu, prompting health authorities to conduct an epidemiological investigation that identified 104 contacts.
Among them, 27 people were placed under self-quarantine, and 77 were classified under active monitoring. PCR tests are conducted every three days for actively monitored medical staff.

So far, tests have been conducted on 192 people, with three testing positive including the index patient, 174 testing negative, and the remaining 18 tests are still in progress.
