Startup Advertising Support Program 'I WILL BE Baek 2021' Contest Announcement

Final Selection of 3 Companies... Production and Broadcast of Advertising Content Worth Approximately 420 Million KRW Per Team

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Korea Startup Forum (hereinafter Kospo) announced on the 9th that it is promoting 'I WILL BE BAEK 2021 (I Will Be Baek 2021)' in collaboration with Focus Media Korea (CEO Yoon Je-hyun) and recruiting participating companies.

I Will Be Baek is a customized advertising marketing support program jointly hosted and organized by Korea Startup Forum, the leading startup representative organization in Korea, and communication company Focus Media Korea. It discovers promising startups in the lifestyle sector, produces innovative services and products into video content, and supports advertising broadcasts through Focus Media Elevator TV, a lifestyle-oriented platform.

I Will Be Baek started its first season last year. The startups selected in Season 1, including The Pirates (In-eo Gyoju Pirate Dan), Sechawang, Kitten Planet (Brush Monster), and Homefit, received practical advertising marketing support, resulting in increased customers and sales as well as remarkable growth.

This time, I Will Be Baek offers upgraded benefits for Season 2. A dedicated team composed of experts such as advertising planners and creative directors will plan and produce customized video content for the selected startups, and support broadcasting on Focus Media apartment elevator TVs for 14 weeks. Additionally, a growth support track to help enhance startups' marketing capabilities through mentoring and education will be provided.

Applications are open until the 7th of next month and can be submitted through the websites of Focus Media Korea and Korea Startup Forum. The first round results of the contest will be announced on March 15. Choi Seong-jin, CEO of Korea Startup Forum, said, "This will be a project that actively promotes and showcases startups' innovative services and products to the public and the ecosystem."
