Held until the 14th on the Korea Tourism Organization’s Korea Travel app and website, this special exhibition features various content such as ‘Delicious Travel with Traditional Liquor,’ ‘Recommended Winter Drive Courses Outside the Car Window,’ ‘Travel Together! 50 Dog-Friendly Travel Destinations,’ ‘Travel Attractions Enjoyed via 360VR Ontact,’ and ‘Feel the Winter! Healing Sound Travel.’
In ‘Delicious Travel with Traditional Liquor,’ content is offered to experience the festive atmosphere at home, including traditional liquors paired with local specialties by food type, popular traditional liquors recommended for beginners, and an introduction to traditional liquor subscription services. ‘Recommended Winter Drive Courses Outside the Car Window’ introduces 20 drive courses across five themes such as snowy scenery, night views, and quiet metropolitan area drives, responding to the increased demand for drive travel due to COVID-19. ‘Travel Together! 50 Dog-Friendly Travel Destinations’ recommends 50 travel spots nationwide suitable for visiting with dogs.
Additionally, in ‘Travel Attractions Enjoyed via 360VR Ontact,’ in collaboration with the early tourism venture company ‘NLC VR,’ snowy scenes of Muju Deogyusan and Cheongsong Ice Valley were produced in VR to allow immersive winter travel experiences. In ‘Feel the Winter! Healing Sound Travel,’ various sounds from winter travel destinations, such as the sound of wind and footsteps on snow, can be enjoyed as ASMR. Other content includes home-based cultural life content and seven representative cultural heritage travel destinations in Korea accessible via online tours.
