Hwasun-gun to Recruit 'Dream Start New Children' Until the 31st
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 9th that it is recruiting 'new Dream Start children' for vulnerable children aged 0 to 12 years old until the 31st.
The recruitment targets are vulnerable children and families residing in the county (basic livelihood security recipients, lower-income groups, single-parent families, grandparent-headed families, etc.).
Families wishing to participate can contact Hwasun-gun Dream Start.
The county conducts initial consultations through home visits by child integrated case managers for applicants, holds case meetings, and Dream Start makes the final selection of the candidates.
Selected children and families receive customized integrated services by field until they graduate from elementary school.
Hwasun-gun Dream Start operates 47 programs in four areas: physical, emotional, cognitive, and family, supporting Dream Start children and families.
The physical area includes 10 programs such as health checkups, cavity treatment, and nutritional supplement support; the emotional area includes 13 programs such as cultural experience programs, psychotherapy, home tutoring, and speech classes; the cognitive area includes 10 programs such as workbooks, early childhood homeschooling, non-face-to-face science classes, home sensory play, and play math.
