Assemblyman Sin Jeonghun Conducts Local Livelihood Visits Ahead of Seollal Holiday
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Shin Jeong-hoon, a member of the National Assembly from the Democratic Party of Korea (Naju·Hwasun, Jeonnam), visited Hwasun Post Office and Hwasun Goindol Market on the 8th ahead of the Seollal holiday to encourage delivery workers and market merchants and to listen to their difficulties.
Rep. Shin said, “There is growing social concern about the overwork and safety issues of delivery service workers,” adding, “We will seek support measures so that delivery workers can work in better conditions.”
He then visited Hwasun Goindol Market to encourage merchants in an effort to revitalize traditional markets, which have been depressed due to the impact of COVID-19.
Rep. Shin plans to visit Moksagoeul Naju Market on the 9th and Yeongsanpo Pungmul Market on the 10th to listen to the difficulties of small business owners in traditional markets.
