Anyone aged 19 or older can participate, and they just need to solve three OX quizzes related to the child insurance product 'Kkum-i Jareuneun Eorini' (Dream-Growing Child) on the Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance website.
Among the correct respondents, a home-cocooning play kit for children and parents (500 winners) and a 5,000 KRW Paris Baguette gift certificate (3,000 winners) will be awarded by lottery. Winners will be announced on the 10th of next month.
Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance launched the child insurance product 'Kkum-i Jareuneun Eorini' last August. It comprehensively covers common illnesses such as chickenpox, hand-foot-and-mouth disease, growth plate fracture, pneumothorax, as well as severe diseases related to cancer, brain, and heart, and rare incurable diseases such as Crohn's disease and Moyamoya disease.
The company explained that the influenza treatment cost coverage, influenza hospitalization daily allowance, and single room hospitalization daily allowance at general hospitals, which were introduced for the first time in the insurance industry, have received enthusiastic responses from customers.

A Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance official said, "By introducing a product structure with automatic renewal at the end of each year to child insurance, it is a product that can provide coverage up to 100 years old with affordable premiums averaging 20,000 to 40,000 KRW." He added, "In case of diagnosis with cancer or benign brain tumor, not only is the premium payment waived, but the insurance premiums paid so far are refunded."
