Zoom Internet Appoints Lee Sung-hyun as New CEO
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Zoom Internet, the operator of the search portal site 'Zoom.com,' announced on the 5th that it has appointed Lee Seong-hyun as the new CEO.
CEO Lee completed the MBA program at New York University (NYU) and is a financial strategy expert who has worked at global financial institutions and consulting firms such as Citibank, Stern Value Management, Deloitte Consulting, and Bain & Company. He later served as head of fintech business at Dunamu, a fintech specialized company.
Zoom Internet stated, "Under the new CEO system, we plan to strengthen the profitability of the existing portal business while growing as a tech-fin platform company encompassing subsidiary Exponential Asset Management and the tech-fin company Project Vanilla."
