2 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Gangnam-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Two new COVID-19 cases (1194, 1195) were confirmed in Gangnam-gu from the afternoon of the 3rd to the 4th.
Case 1196 was confirmed positive on the 29th of last month and was transferred to the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center on the 4th.
Case 1194 is a family member of a previously confirmed Gangnam-gu resident, while case 1195 was confirmed after showing fever symptoms; however, the infection route is unknown and an epidemiological investigation is underway.
Case 1196 tested positive in connection with the cluster infection at Hanyang University Hospital in Seongdong-gu.

Jung Soon-gyun, the district mayor, stated, "I hope all residents strictly follow daily quarantine rules for the sake of ourselves and each other," and added, "All Gangnam-gu staff will do their best to ensure the safety of residents until the COVID-19 situation is over."
