This year as well, the government announced that from February 1 to 14, designated as a special quarantine period, highway tolls will be charged during the Lunar New Year holiday.

Yoon In-guk, Director of the Future Strategy Bureau of the province, stated, "We ask residents to understand that this is to minimize interregional movement to prevent the resurgence of COVID-19," and added, "We will manage the private toll roads thoroughly to ensure that travelers using them during the Lunar New Year holiday do not experience any inconvenience."
