Baedal Minjok Launches 'Support Our Neighborhood Boss Campaign'
'Support Messages' from Customers to Restaurant Owners Exhausted by COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Delivery Hero (Baemin) users are sending special support messages to restaurant owners who are going through difficult times due to COVID-19. Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin (CEO Kim Beom-jun), announced that from the 3rd to the 26th, they will run a support message campaign for restaurant owners called "Give Support as a Gift, Our Neighborhood Boss Fighting."
This campaign started from the idea that communication between restaurant owners and customers can be a source of strength to overcome difficulties caused by COVID-19. The campaign is held on the Baemin app event page. Customers who want to participate can leave their own support messages. Baemin will select a total of 505 messages and publicly share the restaurant names and stories through various online and offline channels.
Among the 505 stories, the five most touching ones will receive special advertisements. Baemin plans to display restaurant ads based on the support messages on outdoor billboards at bus stops closest to the five restaurants. Additionally, flower baskets will be given to the restaurants, and customers who left support messages will receive Baemin coupons worth 100,000 KRW.
