Renault Samsung, 6,152 Units Sold in January... 1.3% Decrease Compared to Same Month Last Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Renault Samsung Motors announced on the 1st that it sold a total of 6,152 units in January. This figure represents a 1.3% decrease compared to the same month last year.
According to Renault Samsung, domestic market sales amounted to 3,534 units, a 17.9% decrease compared to the same month last year, while exports increased by 35.6% to 2,618 units.
By model, the QM6 sold 1,975 units, a 44.2% decrease. Among these, the LPG sports utility vehicle (SUV) QM6 LPe model, which ranked first in domestic LPG vehicle market sales last year, accounted for 1,278 units sold, representing 65% of total QM6 sales.

The XM3 sold 1,150 units, with the high-performance TCe260 model accounting for 49% and the economical 1.6 GTe model accounting for 51%. Additionally, Renault Samsung's January exports totaled 2,618 units, including 782 QM6 units, 1,622 XM3 units, and 214 Twizy units.
