View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Jinju City in Gyeongnam announced on the 1st that it appointed members of the Jinju City Tourism Policy Advisory Committee at the city hall situation room.
The city appointed tourism policy advisors to effectively respond to the successful promotion of the Bugang Jinju 3 Major Projects and the changing tourism trends toward individual tourism and safe travel forms due to the prolonged and global pandemic of COVID-19.
The appointed committee members, totaling 10, consist of tourism experts, tourism business operators, and citizens to reflect diverse opinions. They will provide advice on planning for tourism promotion, development of tourism resources and products, and tourism marketing and publicity.
Jinju Mayor Cho Gyu-il said, “We expect the Tourism Policy Advisory Committee to play a pivotal role in advancing Jinju tourism to the next level through various policy proposals from the advisory members.”

The city is accelerating the promotion of the Bugang Jinju 3 Major Projects for the leap to a tourism city, including the Wonderful Namgang Project, Jinyangho Renaissance Project, and the redevelopment project of the former Jinju Station site.
