[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Libraries and lifelong learning centers under the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education will operate online and offline reading culture programs in February.
On the 1st, the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it will offer reading programs directly run by librarians, programs for children and adolescents, lectures for the general public, and humanities programs.
Applications and registrations for the reading culture programs at the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education's libraries and lifelong learning centers are accepted through the lifelong learning portal Everlearning. Detailed information can be found on each library's website.
Following the social distancing level 2.5 guidelines, the facilities reopened on the 19th of last month and are currently operating, with reading seats limited to within 30% capacity and reading rooms open until 9 PM. The reference rooms, study reading rooms, and programs are also operating normally.
