The company combines customers' personal identification information with mobile carrier subscription information to send notifications via mobile messages. This aims to protect customer personal information by reducing the possibility of misdelivery to others or loss, and to provide safe access anytime and anywhere without restrictions.
All customers of the three major telecom companies can receive the service by simply consenting to the service without installing a separate app. The sent information is stored in the blockchain distribution verification system of the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), ensuring legal validity.
Additionally, the fact that customers have viewed the notification will be communicated to the insurance company, which is expected to resolve disputes regarding proof of notification delivery.
DB Insurance has completed sending mobile notifications to about 200,000 long-term insurance customers so far and plans to expand the service to automobile insurance customers and others.
