According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 20th, 3 people were confirmed positive for COVID-19 overnight and registered as cases 1461 to 1463.
Case 1461, residing in Gwangsan-gu, was found to be related to Gwaneumsa Temple in Yeongam, Jeonnam.
Case 1462 developed symptoms during self-quarantine and is related to Gwangju case 1390. Case 1390 was confirmed positive on the 13th, and the infection route has not yet been identified.
Case 1463 was under self-quarantine related to Gwangju Cheongsa Church and tested positive in a pre-release test.
Meanwhile, with the addition of these 3 cases, a total of 11 people were confirmed positive for COVID-19 on the 19th.
Among them, 7 are related to Hyojeong Nursing Hospital, 1 to Yeongam Gwaneumsa Temple, 1 to Cheongsa Church, 1 had contact with a previously confirmed case, and 1 has an unidentified infection route.
In the Gwangju area, a total of 1,463 people have been confirmed positive for COVID-19, with 221 currently undergoing treatment and 1,228 discharged after recovery. There have been 14 deaths.
