Jeonnam Fire Department Conducts 'Fire Inspections' at COVID-19 Related Facilities Including Medical Institutions
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Ma Jaeyoon) announced on the 19th that it will conduct an emergency fire safety inspection on COVID-19 related facilities such as medical institutions.
This emergency fire safety inspection, which will be conducted until the 22nd, was promoted to prevent winter fires that can easily be neglected while fully responding to COVID-19.
The fire safety inspection targets a total of about 385 places, including 1 residential treatment center, 18 temporary living facilities, 95 nursing hospitals, 260 elderly welfare facilities, and 11 psychiatric medical institutions in the province.
Residential treatment centers, temporary living facilities, and psychiatric medical institutions will be directly inspected on site, while nursing hospitals and other elderly medical facilities will conduct both non-face-to-face self-inspections and on-site inspections.
Jeonnam Fire Headquarters plans to focus on ▲ the operation status of important fire extinguishing facilities ▲ maintenance status of alarm equipment ▲ fire prevention consulting for screening clinics ▲ electricity and gas.
Personnel participating in the on-site inspection will strictly comply with COVID-19 quarantine rules, such as wearing 'Level D' protective gear sets.
