[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Ju-hyung] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 7th that 13 additional people tested positive in connection with Sujisanseong Church, where a COVID-19 cluster infection occurred.
As a result, the number of confirmed cases related to this church has increased to 160.
Among the 13 newly confirmed cases, 6 were reclassified as Sujisanseong Church-related cases during an in-depth epidemiological investigation of previously confirmed cases by the city’s quarantine authorities.
At Sujisanseong Church, after one congregant tested positive for COVID-19 on the 29th of last month, a cluster transmission has occurred involving the pastor, assistant pastor, and church members.
