Hankook Tire plans to carry out the training program focusing on strengthening the digital business capabilities of proactive leaders and fostering creative and innovative thinking by preparing a digital interactive learning and education program suited for the hyper-connected non-face-to-face era. Having conducted the recruitment process through various non-face-to-face communication methods such as video interviews, online job talk concerts, and employee job interview videos, Hankook Tire also held the orientation (OT) program called ‘Newcomers Day’ for the finally selected proactive leaders on the 23rd of last month in a non-face-to-face format.
During Newcomers Day, multi-party online chatting was conducted via a large split screen, and a session was arranged to share experiences with senior employees from each organization to inspire interest and motivation for the upcoming training.
The new employee orientation training, which has been conducted remotely through telecommuting since the 4th, focuses on activating the education platform and content curation to provide more voluntary learning opportunities. It also aims to strengthen soft skills essential for communication and collaboration in a non-face-to-face environment, as well as enhance creative problem-solving abilities that combine data and ideas.
In particular, a growth program has been prepared that allows new employees to recognize the meaning of their work and produce tangible results through communication programs with senior employees and the mini P-Lab project, where they plan and execute projects directly.
After completing the orientation training, step-by-step education programs such as job training, OJT training, mentoring programs for growth consultation, and the new proactive leaders’ welcome event, ‘Proactive Leaders Welcoming Day,’ will be implemented. Whether these events can be held will be discussed separately in accordance with government social distancing guidelines.
