The government has been implementing special quarantine measures for the year-end and New Year holidays from the 24th of last month to the 3rd of next month to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Vice Minister Park inspected the quarantine status including the 50% reservation limit on rooms at rural guesthouses, party restrictions, and the provision of disinfectants, and requested thorough cooperation in quarantine management from guesthouse operators and local governments.
