Actor Lee Byung-hun donated funds to help low-income children struggling due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). According to his agency BH Entertainment on the 30th, Lee delivered 100 million won to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation that day. A representative explained, "He heard that low-income children are suffering from educational inequality due to the spread of COVID-19 and wanted to offer his kindness." The donation will be used to provide safe housing, improve access to education, and support talent development. Lee recently participated as a narrator in the "To a Home Like a Real Home" campaign, which advocates for children's housing rights. Earlier this year, he also donated 100 million won to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, continuing his philanthropic efforts.
