Jeon Nam Police Chief Kim Jae-gyu Joins the 'Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Kim Jaegyu, Chief of the Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency, announced on the 29th that he participated in the "Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge" promoted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to establish a culture of traffic safety practice in children's protection zones.
This challenge was promoted to raise social awareness of traffic safety and to form a national consensus on preventing traffic accidents, including establishing a culture that prioritizes the protection of children, in response to the recent increase in child fatalities in children's protection zones.
Kim Jaegyu, appointed by Jeonnam Superintendent of Education Jang Seok-woong, participated by posting traffic safety slogans and requests for children's safety on his official SNS (Instagram) account.
Additionally, he nominated Kim Young-rok, Governor of Jeonnam Province; Kim Chang-yong, Head of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters of the Road Traffic Authority; and Park Hee-rang, President of the Jeonnam Green Mothers' Association, as the next participants in the challenge.
