Seoul Launches "One Member Per Household COVID-19 Testing" Campaign
[Asia Economy, reporter Cho Inkyung] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on December 29 that it will launch a campaign encouraging "one member per household to undergo preemptive COVID-19 testing" until January 3 of the following year.
The campaign aims to have one representative from each household take a COVID-19 test. Regardless of blood relation, one member from a household who shares residence and livelihood with others is encouraged to get tested to check for possible in-home or intra-family infections.
Preemptive testing for the general public is available free of charge and without reservation at 61 temporary screening centers operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, even for those without symptoms or known exposure.
