According to the Gwangju Fire Safety Headquarters on the 29th, the fire occurred at an apartment in Sinan-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, at 12:04 PM that day.
The fire was completely extinguished within about 20 minutes by the 119 firefighters who responded to the report, and among the 13 residents rescued, 9 were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Fortunately, the injured are reported to have no life-threatening conditions.
