Bucheon City Achieves Triple Crown in Central Government Evaluation for Social Economy Sector
In the 2020 evaluation of the social economy sector conducted by central government ministries, Bucheon City achieved a triple crown.

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 28th that it received the Grand Prize in the 'Outstanding Cases of Social Economy Promotion' evaluation hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
With this, Bucheon City achieved a triple crown in the social economy sector evaluations hosted by central government ministries in 2020. Previously, Bucheon was honored with 'Excellence' in the Ministry of Employment and Labor's Social Enterprise Development evaluation and 'Grand Prize' in the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Social Economy Activation evaluation.
In the Ministry of the Interior and Safety evaluation, the city presented solutions to regional issues through various social economy convergence models such as the dementia elderly care healing farm 'Gachi Gati Social Care Farm' working with social economy, the public-private-academic collaboration social innovation platform 'Maeul Gachi Challenge', and 'Social Changer' turning the COVID-19 crisis into an opportunity, ranking first among 25 basic local governments that passed the preliminary round.
