Gyeongju City Receives 'Excellence Award' in Gyeongbuk Province Evaluation for 'Job Creation Performance'
Achievements of Regional Customized Job Projects Including Attraction of Innovation Nuclear Research Complex
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Gyeongju City announced on the 28th that it received an Excellence Award in the 'Job Creation Performance' evaluation conducted by Gyeongbuk Province.
Gyeongbuk Province evaluated 23 cities and counties based on 8 categories and 13 items, including job target achievement, budget execution, job indicators, and efforts in job creation.
Gyeongju City was recognized for its distinguished performance in job creation compared to other cities and counties, including attracting the Innovative Nuclear Research Complex, establishing a recycling-based project for carbon material parts for automobiles, and constructing an advanced material molding and processing technology center for vehicles.
Throughout this year, Gyeongju City has worked to establish a foundation for creating a youth new golden startup special zone to address the issue of urban hollowing, supported youth emotional store startups, and opened 'Cheongnyeon Godo,' a communication hub space, thereby striving to build a regionally tailored workforce development system.
