Busan City Extends Social Distancing Level 2.5 Until the 3rd of Next Month
Partial Improvement of Quarantine Rules Implemented at Fast Food Restaurants and Others
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Busan City announced on the 27th that it will extend the social distancing level 2.5 in Busan until midnight on January 3rd next year, following the government's policy to extend social distancing measures in the Seoul metropolitan area. Originally, Busan's social distancing was scheduled to end on the 28th.
In this extension, quarantine rules for fast food restaurants will be partially improved and implemented. When ordering drinks or desserts at fast food restaurants, brunch cafes, and bakery cafes, only takeout and delivery will be allowed.
Busan City plans to adjust the social distancing level after a comprehensive review, observing the effects of contact reduction through special quarantine measures during the year-end and New Year holidays.
