The Teachers' Mutual Aid Association Donates 100 Million KRW to the Hope Sharing Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] The-K Korean Teachers' Credit Union announced on the 24th that it has donated 100 million KRW to three organizations?Save the Children, the National Association of Community Child Centers, and the National Disaster Relief Association?through its Hope Sharing Campaign.
The Credit Union is conducting a campaign where employees set individual achievement goals and voluntarily donate based on whether they meet these goals. The company matched the amount raised voluntarily by employees through a matching grant system to fund the Hope Sharing Campaign donations.
A total of 100 million KRW from this Hope Sharing Campaign donation was delivered to the three organizations including Save the Children. The funds will be used for integrated education and relief for vulnerable groups of children and youth, such as school play environment improvement projects, youth talent scholarship support projects, and COVID-19 affected groups support projects.
