'Free Phones · 0-Won Phones' Illegal Single-Price Law Violation Reporting Site Opens
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] A website where people can report violations of the Device Distribution Act, such as advertising 'free phones' or '0 won phones,' will be created.
On the 24th, the Korea Communications Commission (KCC) announced that it will establish a reporting guide section for violations of the Device Distribution Act on the KCC homepage.
Individuals or corporations wishing to report violations of the Device Distribution Act can access the KCC homepage (KCC homepage → Public Participation → Customer Guide → Device Distribution Act Reporting Guide menu), fill out the report details in the Civil Petition Application form on the National Sinmungo website, and submit it along with relevant supporting documents.
The site explains what types of sales activities are subject to reporting, how to report, and the processing procedures. It also posts examples of how to fill out the report form so that anyone can easily refer to them and report violations.
