Four Korean Employees at Pyeongtaek US Military Base Test Positive for COVID-19

One civilian employee and one staff member who last visited Camp Humphreys on the 18th tested positive on the 22nd. The civilian employee, classified as a close contact of a recently confirmed colleague, has been self-isolating at home outside the base since the 18th, while the other staff member was transferred to a dedicated COVID-19 treatment facility in Korea.

The other two staff members, who were classified as confirmed cases the previous day, last visited Camp Humphreys on the 22nd. They have been self-isolating since the 22nd as close contacts of the staff member transferred to the hospital. With this, the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases related to U.S. Forces Korea has risen to 470.
