Hallra Group Donates Funds to Nanum Foundation to Support Artificial Joint Surgery for the Elderly
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Halla Group announced on the 21st that it successfully completed the social contribution activity '2020 Walk Together' to support artificial joint surgery for the elderly in Jeju Island. The donation of 30 million KRW, raised with the participation of about 1,000 group employees, was delivered to the Elderly Medical Sharing Foundation.
Halla Group conducted the social contribution campaign '2020 Walk Together' for four weeks starting from the 2nd of last month under the slogan "Our ten steps become one step for the elderly." Employees raised funds by measuring their movements during daily activities such as commuting, moving during work, and jogging using the 'WalkOn (step counting)' app. In this Walk Together campaign, Halla Group employees walked approximately 102,600 km, equivalent to two and a half times around the Earth.
