Song Guigeun, Governor of Goheung County, Donates Over 10.4 Million Won Raised by All Employees

The Hope 2021 Sharing Campaign collects donations from the 1st of this month until January 31 of next year. The donations delivered on this day were collected from about 880 public officials under Goheung County who participated together from the 7th to the 11th.
County Governor Song Guigeun said, "Although everyone is having a hard time due to COVID-19, I believe in the power of the residents who come together even more firmly during difficult times," and added, "I hope many residents participate to continue hope through sharing, and I will strive for a Goheung where not a single person is left out."

Meanwhile, Goheung County public officials have taken the lead as public servants for residents in need, not only through the annual Hope Sharing Campaign but also by raising 7.4 million won for overcoming COVID-19 and 10.2 million won in donations to support victims of the fire at Yunho 21 Hospital this year. They have also led sharing practices for neighbors in need through activities such as public official V-day volunteer work and visiting vulnerable groups during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays.
