Professor Park Kwang-seo of Konkuk University Reappointed as the 14th President of the Korean Trade and Commerce Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Professor Park Kwang-seo of Konkuk University’s Department of International Trade has been reappointed as the 14th president of the Korean Society of Trade and Commerce.
The Korea International Trade Association announced that Professor Park, who took office as the 13th president in 2019, was re-elected as president at the society’s regular general meeting held on the 18th (Friday), extending his term for four years until 2022.
The Korean Society of Trade and Commerce, which started as the Trade and Commerce Research Association in 1988, is recognized as the leading academic society in the fields of trade studies and trade policy with a 32-year history, and has published the 88th volume of its Korea Research Foundation-registered journal, "Trade and Commerce Research."

President Park has been supporting the trade industry and handling policy work at the Korea International Trade Association since 1991, earned his doctorate from Sungkyunkwan University in 2005, and has been a professor at Konkuk University since 2006.
