Gwangju Maumnanum Mental Health Clinic Donates 5.6 Million Won Raised Through Sharing Challenge for Local Children

The donation ceremony took place at Gwangju Maumnanum Mental Health Clinic with the participation of Bae Junyeol, Good Neighbors Honam Regional Director, Yoo Kiyong, Good Neighbors Jeonnam Central Branch Manager, Lim Kwangmook, Good Neighbors Jeonnam Northern Branch Manager, Kang Seonggyu, Good Neighbors Jeonnam Western Branch Director, and Han Younghoon, Director of Gwangju Maumnanum Mental Health Clinic.
The donation funds were raised through the "Maumnanum Walking Challenge" organized by Gwangju Maumnanum Mental Health Clinic.
The "Maumnanum Walking Challenge" measured participants' walking distances and donated an amount corresponding to the accumulated distance. The director and staff of Maumnanum Mental Health Clinic participated and raised 3.5 million KRW, and acquaintances of participating staff donated an additional 2.1 million KRW, raising a total of 5.6 million KRW in donations.
The donation was delivered to Good Neighbors Honam Regional Headquarters and will be used for the educational expenses of abused children in the Jeonnam region who are going through difficult times due to COVID-19.
Bae Junyeol, Good Neighbors Honam Regional Director, said, "We are grateful to Gwangju Maumnanum Mental Health Clinic for initiating the walking challenge and delivering good influence and donations despite the difficult situation caused by COVID-19," and added, "The received donations will be used well for the education of abused children."
