View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Boram Sangjo announced on the 15th that it has won the '2020 Korea Consumer Satisfaction Index 1st Place' Customer Satisfaction Brand in the Sangjo Service category.
The Korea Consumer Satisfaction Index 1st Place award is established to recognize companies that practice consumer satisfaction management and excel in products and services across various fields, honoring their efforts.
Boram Sangjo introduced systematic services such as Korea's first fixed-price system for funeral supplies in 1991 under the slogan "Boram Sangjo, devoted like my own parents and siblings." Since then, it has enhanced its expertise by establishing directly managed funeral event centers and funeral director training institutes.
According to Boram Sangjo, it has recruited the largest number of members in the industry, 2.45 million, and conducted the highest number of funeral events, approximately 230,000 cases. It has also achieved total assets of 1.1 trillion KRW and advance payments of 1.25 trillion KRW, holding the number one market share in the Sangjo market based on advance payments.
