Muan-gun Wins 'Encouragement Award' at Jeonnam Regional Cancer Management Project Evaluation Contest
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-ju] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 15th that it received the Encouragement Award in the National Cancer Screening category at the Jeonnam Regional Cancer Management Project Evaluation Contest hosted by Jeollanam-do and organized by the Jeonnam Regional Cancer Center on the 11th.
This contest was held to evaluate the achievements of the national cancer management projects in 22 cities and counties within Jeollanam-do, discover excellent cases, and share directions for promoting non-face-to-face cancer management.
In this evaluation, the county was recognized for its efforts to improve cancer screening participation rates by providing stool sample containers for colorectal cancer screening at town and township offices and health centers, promoting through the use of non-tax revenue notices, and installing banners.
