Jeong Cheonsik, CEO of Blue Indus, Appointed as Inaugural President of Celebrity Baseball Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Joo-hee] The Korea Celebrity Baseball Association (SBO) announced on the 15th that it held an extraordinary board meeting and unanimously appointed Jung Cheon-sik, CEO of Blue Indus Co., Ltd., as the inaugural president.
CEO Jung Cheon-sik founded Blue Indus Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of industrial safety products such as industrial masks, in 2008. Currently, alongside managing his company, he serves as the standing auditor of Nexen Co., Ltd., president of the Busan Yangji Association, standing representative of the Southeast Region Win-Win Forum, and chairman of the Busan International Art Fair organizing committee. He is actively involved in supporting culture and arts as well as social contribution activities. He has worked in national security-related roles for over 30 years and played a key role as the head of safety measures at major international events such as the 2002 World Cup, the 2002 Busan Asian Games, and the 2003 Daegu Universiade. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the Order of Merit for National Foundation, Cheonsu Medal, and registered as a national meritorious person.
