Pocheon-si Installs Two Temporary COVID-19 Screening Centers
Operation at Yeongbuk-myeon and Ildong-myeon Public Parking Lots from the 16th of This Month to January 3rd Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province will install two temporary COVID-19 screening clinics and operate them starting from the 16th.
According to the city on the 15th, the first temporary screening clinic will be set up in the parking lot of Yeongbuk-myeon Office, and the second temporary screening clinic will be installed in the public parking lot in front of Ildong-myeon Police Substation. They plan to operate for three weeks until January 3rd of next year. Operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day, including weekdays and weekends.
The operating staff will consist of two medical personnel for specimen collection and fever checks, and two administrative support personnel responsible for guidance and other tasks.
This temporary screening clinic operation follows government guidelines aimed at early detection of asymptomatic cases through proactive testing and blocking the spread of COVID-19. Any Pocheon citizen can get tested regardless of epidemiological links or presence of symptoms if they wish to undergo diagnostic testing.
